It's safe to say that Jaguar has evolved a lot over the past few years, eventually offering more SUVs than cars. Today, the brand is working on an ultra-luxury electric car capable of competing with the biggest names in the industry. All of this goes to show that the British automaker has always found a way to stand out, no matter the era.

While all Jaguar vehicles are luxurious and prestigious, some are more appreciated than others, especially among collectors. There are models so sought-after that their value borders on absurd in the used car market. Still, we all have the right to dream, which is why I've decided to present the 7 models I would add to my garage if I won the lottery tomorrow morning.

1 — Jaguar F-Pace SVR 2019 — Present

The Jaguar F-Pace SVR is the only model on this list that can still be purchased at a dealership, which is why you should consider it. I know, the British automaker's SUV is still quite common, but the SVR version is no less formidable and highly capable. It's the kind of SUV that won't be made in the same way in a few years. You can find one for under $100,000 on the used car market—a real bargain. I have a strong feeling that prices will rise significantly one day, so now is the time to add this model to your garage.

2 — Jaguar F-Type Project 7 2014–2015

The Jaguar F-Type is one of the best sports and grand touring cars in the modern automotive industry. During its career, it had a few special editions, including the legendary Project 7—a car every collector and Jaguar enthusiast should own. It may not be as old or exclusive as most of the cars on this list, but it is certainly a future classic. Today, you'll need to spend around $350,000 for a well-maintained example.

3 — Jaguar XJR-15 1990–1992

Here's a car that few people know about, and it doesn't resemble anything else the brand has produced. Essentially, it's a road-going version of the XJR-9 race car, with a sleek, modern design for its time. This is where it starts to hit the wallet, as these cars sell for around $1.5 million on the used market. However, this price is entirely justified, given that only 50 units were ever produced.

4 — Jaguar XJ220 1992–1994

The XJ220 is perhaps one of the most famous classic Jaguars in the world. It's renowned for its breathtaking performance and futuristic styling. In short, it's a special car, and its average selling price is around $675,000, climbing to nearly $900,000 for a low-mileage, well-maintained example. It's one of the few cars of its kind that hasn't yet crossed the $1 million mark, which is likely to happen in the coming years. In short, if you're interested in this British automaker's car, you shouldn't wait.

5 — Jaguar XKSS 1957

This car is less well-known than others on the list, which is rather ironic, as its value is almost priceless. Only 16 units were ever produced. Those who know and appreciate this car are certainly wealthy, as the rare occasions when one has gone on sale saw prices ranging between $16 and $19 million.

6 — Jaguar D-Type 1954–1957

The Jaguar D-Type is another very rare and highly sought-after car, which explains its selling price of between $8 and $10 million. This is definitely the kind of car you'd want in your garage, especially if you're passionate about the brand.

7 — Jaguar E-Type 1961–1968

Some classic cars on this list are simply out of reach, but that's not the

case with the Jaguar E-Type, which can be purchased at a very reasonable price. The rarest variants sell for around $1 million, but you can find a more common version for the modest sum of $100,000, making this British automaker's car very appealing.
